Hope everyone had a great easter.  I definitely gave up my Final Four weekend of basketball to visit a rematch of the MCLA’s 2009 Elite Eight game, Chapman vs Simon Fraser.

Saturday’s win in Portland was a homecoming for five Chapman players including senior, Connor Martin (no. 99 above).

Oregon played in the second game of the double-header; coming off a big win over Chapman on Thursday they couldn’t keep it together for another top-ten victory over Arizona State.

In attendance at the game were a score of my Oregon lacrosse alumni, always good to see those heads together in one place, as well as a few straggling members of the new 503 Lax squad (posts here and here).

Big weekend of lacrosse coming up.  Lake Oswego HS (where I’m goalie coaching) takes on Lakeridge HS this Friday night in the biggest lax rivalry in the state.  Saturday and Sunday it’s another 503 Lax weekend.  And Sunday evening, Oregon takes on Simon Fraser up in B.C. for the game that will decide the regular season PNCLL title as well as have immense post-season implications for both teams.

Go Ducks! Go Trees! Go Lakers!
