University of Denver Coaches Explain the Ropes: Timing it out, getting found, and standing out.
The guys at Jookt caught up with the Pioneer’s Head Coach, Jamie Monro and Associate HC Jon Torpey. This is a quality production and shines some much needed light on the recruiting process.
In the vid, Monro and Torpey explain what high school coaches can do to help facilitate the recruiting process, what players need to do throughout the school year to remain a desirable prospect, and the importance of finding a school that matches your interests. “Once we find a kid that we like we then have to find out the tangibles,” says Torpey. “Like what kind of work ethic do they have, are they coachable, are they a good character fit?”
