Maine Video: Wooden Sticks & Shooting Skeet

It was my first time fixing up a woodie, but the stick came out great, and throws on a dime. It was so nice that I convinced myself I could shoot a skeet pigeon out of the air… I did come pretty close!

I made my way up to Maine for Thanksgiving and got to see plenty of family and friends. Everyone enjoyed a grand old time, as we celebrated and remembered together. My uncle Dennis bought a wooden stick for me on his drive from Vermont (what a guy!) and I took out the busted old pocket and put in a brand new traditional pocket (I kept the original cat gut sidewall, which was still intact) using Throne of String’s new leathers.

It was my first time fixing up a woodie, but the stick came out great, and throws on a dime. It was so nice that I convinced myself I could shoot a skeet pigeon out of the air… I did come pretty close!

It was a great time mixing family, lacrosse, and some outdoor sport!

Lacrosse Camp Filmed By Drone And GoPro Camera

The UCSB club puts on the SB60 Elite, where 60 high level players come together for college level coaching and drilling, led by Michael Allen. While the concept of a small side elite camp is not unique, I do think the way they filmed the action is special. They used a flying drone to film the camp!
