Our very own man about lacrosse, Connor Wilson, headed down to New Orleans for the 2012 Mardi Gras Lacrosse Tournament this weekend.

2012 Mardi Gras lacrosse tournament — Some of the NOLC ladies at the red eye, which, when not occupied by lacrosse players, is not my cup of tea. However when the tourney party is there and everyone shows up, it's awesome. They even played sandstorm by darude. It was like the year 2000 al over again.

2012 Mardi Gras lacrosse tournament — A float in one of 3 major parades on Saturday. These were "mini" floats. I got some awesome skull beads for doing the old MC Hammer dance... Best beads of the night. Hands down.

2012 Mardi Gras Lacrosse Tournament 23 — Tony's Tavern vs Pensacola. NOLC won it's last game against Houston predators big. Both teams were a bit short on numbers.... But it was a fun game, pretty clean, and the sun was out. I wore pants over shorts over spandex over underwear. I was just warm enough. Mow the sun is out and it's beautiful.

2012 Mardi Gras Lacrosse Tournament 24 — Lax is 100% on and popping today!!! No rain, very few mud spots and the sun even came out! It's beautiful now. 55-60 and a steady breeze.NOLC lost to the salt shakerz this morning. Their goalies played fantastically. Food is being served and the beer is flowing like water. We've been here since 730am. I think I need a nap! UVA club team looks good on both mens and womens sides so far.
