Maryland’s Jay Carlson Makes Sportscenter’s Top Plays

ESPN’s Eamon McAnaney knows a top play when he sees one.

In case you’d forgotten from last season, every time Eamon said “Hashtag Sportscenter Top 10” after an incredible play, that play ended up making it to Sportscenter that night. Every. Single. Time.

The streak continued Saturday in Charlottesville, where Jay Carlson of Maryland made it to #2 on Top Plays with this no-look btb against UVA.

Carlson finished with three goals on the day, as Maryland withstood a late Virginia rally to defeat the Cavaliers 9-7. Congrats to Eamon for extending his streak into 2013, and congrats to the 7-1 Terps, who are most likely headed back to #1 in the polls after their first win at Klöckner Stadium since 2003.
