Last Monday, a few thousand lacrosse fans filed into the Langley Events Centre to witness the grand finale of the 2016 Minto Cup, held in British Columbia, Canada. Just in case you weren’t following along with all of the excitement, take the time to rewind and check out how the entire event shook out.
What better way to end a season than with the championship series going to a tiebreaker, finishing in overtime? 2016 has been the year of unreal finishes, the Minto Cup was no exception!
British Columbia-based sports photographer Dan Brodie was up close and personal for the entire event, capturing some amazing moments from the week-long tournament. Brodie has uploaded dozens of incredible moments for you to enjoy, but our eyes have been glued to these thirty photos from Game 5 of the Minto Cup Finals, when the Coquitlam Adanacs topped the Orangeville Northmen, 6-5, in overtime, to hoist the trophy for the first time since 2010.
