Connor O’Hara and Ryland Rees of the Boston Cannons have been named Warrior MLL Players of the Week for their performances in an 18-11 win over the New York Lizards. O’Hara won Offensive Player of the Week while Rees won Defensive Player of the Week. Dallas Rattlers’ rookie Teddy Hatfield was named Cascade MLL Rookie of the Week.

Teddy Hatfield: Cascade Rookie of the Week
In the first MLL game of the weekend, Teddy Hatfield turned heads with an impressive showing against the Atlanta Blaze. The former Richmond Spider put together a three point performance on a goal and two assists. The three points were the first points in Hatfield’s young career.

O’Hara put together his best performance of the MLL season scoring four goals against the Lizards. The four goals are a career high for O’Hara, who is in his second season out of Bucknell. O’Hara now has nine goals on the season.

On the other side of the ball, O’Hara’s teammate, Ryland Rees, put together an all around impressive performance. Defensively, Rees caused four turnovers and scooped up six ground balls. Rees played both ends of the field, scoring his first goal of the MLL season in the first quarter.
