Jumbo Jack Reviews ‘Damages’ on FX

In addition to inspirational and witty commentary on lax and pop culture, I think we might be able to add voice of reason when it comes to quality TV shows. After listening to 412’s review of Damages on FX, I decided to check it out and see if he really knew what he was talking about.

Here are my feelings on Season 1:

Full disclosure: episode 1 had me at hello and I haven’t turned back since. With several twists and turns occuring in the first 15 minutes, it keeps viewers on the edge of their seat guessing. It’s a show where they zig when you think they are going to zag.

Those crazy plot twists and turns are woven together tightly by an exceptional cast with leading lady Glenn Close and rising star Rose Byrne and even good old Ted Danson headlining.

For those with a short attnetion span, like myself, the show is relatively free of long, drawn out scenes which forces you to pay attention if you don’t want to miss something. In short:
GO WATCH IT ONLINE RIGHT NOW!

If you don’t believe me, read what this guy has to say:

With a reinvented, always-revelatory Glenn Close at its helm, the FX drama couldn’t be timelier, homing in on pandemic corporate corruption and its terrifying enemy: a zealous, egomaniacal attorney (Close) with a fractured psyche, a bitter, overworked underling, and a city full of enemies.
