The Lacrosse Association of Kansas City has released its second coaches poll of the 2013 season, again giving Shawnee Mission East the top nod. The 12 team league is comprised of schools in the Kansas City Metro area. The results are listed, with the number of first place votes bracketed.

1.  Shawnee Mission East [5]
2.  Rockhurst
3.  Pembroke Hill [3]
4.  Blue Valley West
5.  Olathe South

NOTES: At the time of print, Rockhurst (1-3) has been largely untested in Missouri, getting their only win of the season against Shawnee Mission South 12-2. Rockhurst and Pembroke Hill play each other on April 4. While a 3 v 2 game technically doesn’t count as an upset, I’ve got my eye on Pemboke in 2013, watch out Rockhurst. This should be the game of the week for the LAKC, and a chance for the rest of MO to see that Pembroke will be the team to beat in 2013.
