NLL Week 3: Twitter Reactions

Week 3 of the National Lacrosse League season has come and gone and every day’s action just seems to get better and better. We’re here to bring you the best Twitter reactions and moments from the NLL Week 3.

Teams are jockeying for position in the newly expanded playoff format, when it seems almost every game could have playoff implications. It is can’t miss action, as LaxAllStars’ Jake Elliott of the Lacrosse Classified podcast pointed out on Twitter.


An impressive win by the New England Blackwolves over the defending champion Saskatchewan Rush at home kicked-off Week 3 of the NLL. Even though the Rush has won three of the last four NLL championships, the Black Wolves showed no fear as they took on the reigning champs. New England head coach Glenn Clark talked about the team’s mentality after their win:

There was an epic battle at the faceoff dot between Trevor Baptiste and Jake Withers:


Lyle Thompson did what Lyle Thompson does, scoring the game-tying and game-winning goals as the Swarm took down the Toronto Rock:

John LaFontaine’s highlight reel hit and goal made for an early candidate for the top play of the year:

A great goal by Cody Jameison for the Rochester Knighthawks also stole the show:
