The Optik features a level 2 bottom rail, designed for a low-mid pocket, giving players a quick and accurate release with added power. Weighing in at 4.5oz, the Optik’s new 2-Strut design is built for speed without sacrificing power.

We are proud to introduce the Optik as the second Maverik head to be made in the USA. This head is specifically designed and engineered for the elite offensive player, said Jeff Colburn, category manager for Maverik Lacrosse.

You can see the Optik in action this summer throughout Major League Lacrosse. As part of a recent agreement, Maverik will equip select MLL players with gloves, pads, handles and heads for the 2014 season.
