Photos And Video: Loyola Tops Fairfield

Loyola took down Fairfield 13-7 on Saturday at home and the defending national champions received a huge scoring boost from their star defensive midfielders as LSM Scott Ratliff pumped in a crazy four goals, and Josh Hawkins chipped in with two goals. The six goals proved to be the difference maker in the game, and equaled Loyola’s winning margin.

Ward and Sawyer each had two goals for Loyola as well, with Ward also notching two assists. Loyola’s defense was tough all day and did not allow Sam Snow or Eric Warden to take over the game for Fairfield. Jack Runkel made 7 saves for the win in net for Loyola.
