Premier Lacrosse League Announces Partnership With One Love Foundation

The Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) announced today its partnership with the One Love Foundation, the national leader in educating young people on relationship health, to host a series of pre, during and post league season initiatives.

Starting in May, PLL will host One Love in-person workshops at the inaugural PLL training camp at IMG Academy in Florida. As part of the partnership, One Love educators will train every incoming PLL player and coach on the differences between healthy and unhealthy relationships.

“The partnership with the One Love Foundation accentuates PLL’s desire to inspire our players and find unique ways to give back to the community,” says PLL Chief Executive Officer Mike Rabil. “Alongside the Foundation, we vow to educate the public and our players on the importance of love and everlasting positive spirit.”

PLL will also host official One Love Foundation activations during league gamedays in Boston and select other locations this summer. Each tentpole event will see PLL players interact with fans and stress the importance of finding ways to #lovebetter.

“To have the support of PLL is so incredibly important and to reach the lacrosse community on a national scale helps in our efforts to end relationship abuse,” said Katie Hood, Chief Executive Officer of The One Love Foundation in Honor of Yeardley Love.
