PLL Announces Week 2 Attendance

The Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) announced today an attendance total of 10,773 over three games this past Saturday and Sunday (June 8-9) at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, NJ.

Red Bull Arena hosted the second-ever week of PLL games and the fans in New Jersey were treated to three thrilling lacrosse games. Saturday saw the Whipsnakes LC win their second consecutive overtime game with a victory over the Chrome LC. The afternoon game between Archers LC and Redwoods LC featured a thrilling battle that ended with an Archers’ win. The weekend action ended with a Sunday game that was broadcast on NBC in front of a national television audience, with Connor Fields and Miles Thompson leading Chaos LC to a dominant win over Atlas LC.

A highlight driven weekend, fueled by the overtime thriller on Saturday and a series of viral plays by Chaos LC on Sunday’s NBC game led to a flurry of chatter across Twitter. Over the two day period, PLL content generated 1.2 million total interactions and 23 million total impressions when factoring in social conversation and player posts.

The PLL season continues next weekend at SeatGeek Stadium in Chicago with an action packed slate of games (June 15 and 16). Gameplay starts on Saturday with a 1PM ET showdown between Redwoods LC and Chaos LC on NBC Sports Gold. Later that afternoon, Whipsnakes LC and Archers LC will face off at 5PM ET on NBCSN. Weekend games will culminate on Sunday at 2:30 PM ET with a matchup between Atlas LC and Chrome LC that will be shown on NBC – the network’s flagship station.
