PLL Atlanta Attendance Announced

The Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) announced today an attendance total of 11,212 over three total games this past Friday and Saturday (June 28-29) at Georgia State Stadium in Atlanta, GA.

PLL players and team put on a spectacular show this weekend for fans in Atlanta as all three games went down to the wire. The weekend started with a matchup on Friday night that saw Atlas LC defeat Archers LC in a game that went down to the final seconds. In front of a packed Saturday crowd who came out in the blistering heat, Chaos LC defeated Chrome LC in an instant overtime classic. Finally, the afternoon game saw Whipsnakes LC lose for the first time this season as Redwoods’ midfielder and lacrosse legend Kyle Harrison scored the go ahead goal late in the fourth quarter. Each game generated significant social interaction throughout the weekend as PLL content brought in over 16 million total impressions on all platforms, highlighting a month in which PLL posts generated nearly 4 million total social interactions and individual PLL player Instagram followings grew by an average of over 15%.

The PLL season will continue next week with a trio of games at Audi Field in Washington D.C. The weekend will kick off with a double header of games on July 6th scheduled to take place at 5PM ET and 8PM ET respectively. This first game will see Archers LC face off against Redwoods LC on NBC Gold, while the 8PM ET game will see Whipsnakes LC battle Atlas LC under the lights on NBCSN. Weekend games will culminate with a Sunday 3PM ET matchup between Chaos LC and Chrome LC, which will also be available on NBCSN.
