This photo just screams Old School.

LongStick33 tweeted a photo of a book cover the other day on Twitter and it had Old School written all over it!  We asked him to send over some photos from the book, and as we expected, they didn’t disappoint one bit!  Big thanks to LongStick33 for sending these over.  We’ll let him explain how he happened across this vintage lax gem:

Here are some pics from that book, Lacrosse Is For Me. I was over at my nephew’s house hanging with him, and I noticed he had taken this book out of the library for his winter break reading.  He is in first grade.   As you can imagine, I was pretty excited.  Some of the pics are from a UCSB game.  It is a little hard to make out, but they were playing Stanford in the game.

So it’s Old School AND features collegiate club lacrosse?  Too cool.

A brief content summary…

The book was written by Robert E. Reynolds and published in 1984 by Lerner Publications Company.  The book’s ISBN is 0-8225-1145-2.  Even though it’s probably outdated in a lot of ways, it would make a great gift for any lacrosse player, if you could find it.  It’s thoughtful and full of passion!  Big thanks to LongStick33 for sending it over and see below for a ton more from the book!
