Show LAS Your Old School: UConn Do It

We asked and you answered.  Think living in the past is a bad thing? Not us! Old school lacrosse photos are a time machine to the days of bucket helmets and Shotguns, and we want to see every single one of ‘em.

Submitter David Longo writes:

Not sure if you are interested in this in regard to your request for old pictures from lacrosse teams.  But at UConn we have quite the gallery of old pictures going back to the 60’s…

Yes we are David and and you bet they do!

UConn has a rich lacrosse history “…from it’s fledgling club days in 1964, to it’s varsity days, to the current MCLA program.”

Here is a selection of photos from the past few decades. Think of it as a time capsule:

Spring 1969

Craig Holbrook and Rex Hong, 1978

Spring 1987

2002 PCLL Playoffs

“Nostalgia – it’s delicate, but potent… It’s a twinge in your heart far more powerful than memory alone.” That’s pretty much the mantra of our Show LAS Your Old School series.

Whether it’s a trip down Husky lacrosse memory lane or talking about a wheel, Don Draper never lies.

Go clean out the attic and relive your glory days. Submit your Old School photos and stories to info@lacrosseallstars.com!
