Stick Skills Saturday: The Kickback Pass

This week we take a break from stick tricks and are focusing more on individual moves that improve your stick skills overall as a player.

This week, Stick Trick Skills Saturday is looking a little different. Instead of focusing on straight up stick tricks, this month we are focusing on different moves and actions in lacrosse that require a higher level of stick skills.

This week’s skill is called the kickback, for two different reasons:

  1. You are actually kicking the stick
  2. This is a move you should only pull when you are kickin’ back in your backyard with some buddies.

It is a nice little move to have in your arsenal, and it also gets you more comfortable with your stick. This is really just a variation of a low to high pass. You are just adding a little style to it by only using one hand, and your foot.

Think you can one up me? Let’s see what you got! Send in your homemade stick trick videos for a chance to be featured on next week’s Stick Trick Saturday! Check out previous week’s videos if this one seems a little advanced!
