Stopping Lacrosse Practice To Smell The Double Rainbow

Connor Wilson was at youth lacrosse practice in New York City and caught the most amazing double rainbow he’s ever seen on video.

Yesterday marked the last practice of the year for the team of 5th and 6th grade boys I help coach for Doc’s Lacrosse in NYC. We worked on some man up and man down, and then started scrimmaging when the brief downpours arrived. The rain only lasted about 5 minutes, and as it tapered off, we were treated to something special…

The brightest, fullest, DOUBLE RAINBOW I’ve ever seen in my life:

Usually we don’t stop practice for rain, and we don’t stop it for rainbows either. But as you can see in the video above, this one was special. We just happened to be in the right place, at the right time, and we were treated to a pretty amazing display by mother nature.

Sometimes it’s really worth it to take a step back and truly check out your surroundings… you never know what you’ll end up seeing! The Double Rainbow was even more amazing in person. The video above was caught with an iPhone. In person it was even more vibrant.

Music Monday: Lose Yourself To Dance

I don't know if you guys are listening to this new Daft Punk album or not, but it's amazing. Sure, it's nothing like One More Time or their popular earlier music, but I have to say I like their advanced quasi-minimalist sound more now than ever.
