Stringing Tutorial: Mesh For Everyone!

I created a new stringing tutorial on our YouTube page, and this time around I’m getting a little crazy, and teaching you how to string mesh! I know, anything but traditional from me is weird… but I played with mesh for years in college, and still know how to string a great pocket.

I created a new stringing tutorial on our YouTube page, and this time around I’m getting a little crazy, and teaching you how to string mesh! I know, anything but traditional from me is weird… but I played with mesh for years in college, and still know how to string a great pocket. Humble brag? Perhaps.

The pocket below is channeled, but not TOO heavily, and will work for attackmen, midfielders, and defensemen alike. I put in a mid pocket, but I show you how you can string a high or low pocket as well, using a very similar technique.

This isn’t THE WAY to string a mesh pocket, but it’s certainly A WAY… and a pretty darn good way if I do say so myself.

Lax Hacks: Saving Your Butt

This simple Lax Hack will keep your shaft from "cookie cuttering" your rubber end cap. Personally I don't use rubber butt ends anymore but I used to use this trick to keep my shafts from ripping apart the rubber and exposing the metal. Not only is an uncovered butt end dangerous but it's also illegal and you'll be putting your team at risk for an unnecessary penalty.
