Notre Dame & Virginia Add to ACC Confusion – DI Rundown Week 9
While the top-five teams saw a few upsets (thank you Notre Dame and Virginia), the top 20 was pretty stable this week overall. Most of the teams that should have won did, and nearly every top-20 team won. But, that’s not to say things aren’t getting interesting. So we’ll take a little bit of a […]
Charlotte North Sets Single-Game ACC & Boston College Scoring Records
Charlotte North set a Boston College and ACC women’s lacrosse single-game record with a jaw-dropping 10 goals in a 21-11 conquering of Virginia Tech on Saturday in Blacksburg, Virginia. For 17-straight seasons, the Terps have appeared in the NCAA Championship tournament. But in 2002, Maryland men’s lacrosse didn’t make the cut. Conference Comparison: NCAA Week 1
The first week of the season might seem like little more than ceremonial to some people. Not every lacrosse conference is playing. Most of the top 20 doesn’t want to play each other yet and THERE’S STILL SNOW ON THE GROUND! But me, I love it. This part of the season is what really sets […]

Once again in NCAA D1, the B1G, the CAA, and SoCon kept things internal the Big East and MAAC both had bad weeks while the Ivy is looking stronger and stronger. Then the NEC went 2-0 to inch closer to .500 on the heels of Robert Morris’ pair of wins.
NCAA D1 Conference Comparison – Week 9
The same three conferences who didn’t venture outside last week did more of the same this week. The rest were still having some fun, though. The biggest mover was the Patriot League, scoring wins over Monmouth (MAAC), Yale (Ivy), and Mt. St. Mary’s (NEC).
NCAA D1 Conference Comparison – Week 8
