The College Lacrosse season is upon us, and while every team out there hasn’t played a game yet (NCAA D3 NESCAC teams don’t start practice for 5 more days), plenty of teams have seen game action, and others are putting up solid preseason video. The Government Shutdown: Almost a million employees have been put on furlough or will be paid at a later date, federal parks have shut down, and passport delays are imminent. On a less national scale, the US Service Academies are suspending athletics on campus, and this obviously impacts lacrosse in a major way.

Marquette Tops Air Force For First Win Ever

Joe Amplo and the men’s lacrosse team (along with all their staff) at Marquette need to be congratulated on the program’s first win EVER, which came on the road over a tough and athletic Air Force team, 8-6.
