On Thursday night at 7pm, not only did almost 7,000 New Yorkers get the game they wanted to see, the whole lacrosse world was riding the edges of their seats watching 2014 Tewaaraton Winner Lyle Thompson lead his #9 UAlbany Great Danes against their Upstate rival, the #2 Syracuse Orange, for one last time.

Brothers Lyle and Miles, along with cousin Ty, dominated opponents and highlight reels by being one of the most electrifying offenses in lacrosse history. The two brothers from the Onondaga reservation in Upstate New York changed many people’s views about lacrosse after the electrifying year that was 2014.
