Team Goldstar Tel Aviv’s Trip to Prague
This week was awesome for me and the boys of Team Goldstar Tel Aviv. We traveled to Prague, Czech Republic to play in the Aleš Hřebeský Memorial Box Lacrosse Tournament. We didn’t know what to expect, because most of us had never even played one box game in our entire lives.

Music Monday: Goon Hand 2
After a brief hiatus from Music Monday I’m back with a treat for you! Desmond Bailey aka Baer C00n The Ewokk’s Goon Hand 2. You may remember us mentioning Des in an October edition of End Caps. For those of you just hearing of Baer Coon for the first time, Bailey is a goalie for the Chicago Outlaws, a semi-pro box team which plays in the CILL. Des’ colorful and eccentric nature makes for a great character in the cage and on the mic.
Junior NLL Tournament Helps Grow The Game
This year seems to be a progressive one for box lacrosse. I’ve seen more programs and tournaments pop up these past few months than ever before, and even the NLL is getting on board by hosting its first Junior Tournament in Toronto.
CI2L Semi-Pro Box Tournament – Sears Center
August 23rd-25th The Chicago Outlaws hosted a four team shootout in the Sears Centre. CI2L box lacrosse at it’s finest.

A little bit of go Connor dropped a blind item about a field goalie trying his hand at box lacrosse. Last Friday, we revealed who the mystery man was, and even showed off a video of him playing against some kids. There are a lot of great moments in that video, including this one captured here.
Philadelphia Box Lacrosse Championship
Please welcome PJ Martin, of UnCommon Fit to LAS! PJ was in Philly for the Philadelphia Box Lacrosse Association’s Championship Game on Monday night, and he got to take in some gritty Canadian-style box lacrosse right here in the US… and in the City of Brotherly Love! Ironic, right? Check out PJ’s experience at the Rizz, and learn a little more about what just might be the best men’s box lacrosse league in the US.

I was over in New Jersey the other week checking out an American Indoor Lacrosse Association clinic in Ridgewood, and I was lucky enough to stumble upon Drew Adams’ first moments as a box lacrosse goalie. We put together a fun video on the behind the scenes action for our MVP members. It’s the added perk of being a member!
Box Lacrosse Player With HUGE Field Upside
Layne Smith is a 2015 attackman who also plays a whole lot of box lacrosse. He’s not the tallest kid in the field, but he’s thick (5’11” and 195) and uses his strength and balance to his advantage very well. He also has a super stick, and finishes inside with a flurry of fakes.
