The Chesapeake Bayhawks just won their second consectutive Major League Lacrosse championship, and their league-best fifth overall title. If they don’t deserve photo of the week honors, I don’t know who does. In fact, they get a double dose, first with this gem from Cascade’s Instagram and then this awesome t-shirt design the Hawks created.

Pick Your Poison: Powell Vs Millon 2002

It’s not scientific, and just for fun. No reason is really needed other than that! We respect both of these legends immensely, and we’re just interested to hear which assist you like more… Millon’s dodge and dump from X? Or Powell’s quick stick feed to a cutter? We thought they were both great, but which was BETTER?

Denver Stays Perfect, Chesapeake Still Challenging

The Bayhawks hit the road this week, hot off Casey Powell’s MLL return and a huge overtime win over Boston, to face the undefeated Denver Outlaws in Mile High Stadium. The game would open with a quick goal from Denver’s Jeremy Sieverts (former Bayhawk) only to be answered equally as quickly by Chesapeake’s Drew Westervelt (former Outlaw).

MLL Instant Replay: The First Mistake

A few weeks ago, a last second MLL instant replay challenge was denied on a goal. This past week, the challenge was allowed, and given. Which one was the RIGHT call? What happened? We get to the bottom of things with some help from Major League Lacrosse Commissioner, Dave Gross.

Casey Powell And Bayhawks Take Down Cannons

The last time the Chesapeake Bayhawks faced off against the Boston Cannons, the Cannons were 0-3, with the worst season start in franchise history. That game ended in with an overtime victory for the Cannons at Harvard stadium, and would lead to a monumental turn around seeing Boston winning 4 of the next 6 games, putting them back in playoff contention.

The Victorious Return Of Casey Powell

Much ado was made by many in the lacrosse world concerning the return of Casey Powell to Major League Lacrosse last night, and for good reason. The 37 year old superstar has been a force in pro lacrosse (both indoor and outdoor) for years, and Casey showed no signs of slowing down in his 2013 MLL debut, and return to the league, after a brief retirement.
