BCJALL Game of the Week: Coquitlam Adanacs vs Delta Islanders
The Adanacs (4-1) are coming off of winning the BCJALL Championship and the Western Canada Championship followed by losing to Six Nations in the Minto Cup in six games. The Islanders (6-0) own offensive group is nothing to ignore either.
Adanacs Continue Roll Toward Minto Cup, Arrows Look to Stop
The Best of 7 Minto Cup finals are two games in and the Six Nations Arrows are starting to really look flustered. Although the Arrows lost the first game to Coquitlam 7-6, the Adanacs got the better read on Six Nations in game two taking 11-6 win.
Box Lacrosse in British Columbia: Game of the Year
After losing 12-10 to the ‘Bellies on June 18th, the Adanacs will be seeking revenge and looking to avoid being swept in the season series between the first and second place teams in the BCJALL. A win for New West will clinch them the regular season title and will mark the first time since 2008 Coquitlam will not finish with first place honors.
Box Lacrosse in British Columbia: Playoff Push
After playing each other Saturday, the Adanacs will host the Shamrocks for their third and final meeting this season. With the first game between the two clubs ending in a 9-9 tie, a crucial two points is up for grabs as both teams fight for a better position in the standings and a more favorable draw heading into the post season. With Coquitlam sitting in second with 29 points, and Victoria currently in third with 23, it is probable these two teams will face each other in the first round of the 2014 BCJALL playoffs.
Box Lacrosse in British Columbia: Battle of the Bigs
Both teams now have their complete rosters and all players back from school, you can be sure this game will be a little different than when the two league leaders first met. This week New West heads to Coquitlam for a battle of the bigs.
