Founder of Lacrosse Mustache Madness, Keen Clausen announced that HEADstrong broke their own record by raising over $170k for the fight against cancer!
The HEADstrong Foundation broke the news of MLL all-star Joey Sankey as the Men’s Lacrosse Player Ambassador for 2016. Sankey is Philly-native, as is HEADstrong.
Eight college lacrosse teams will meet at UPenn in Philadelphia for the 3rd Annual HEADstrong University City Classic this coming weekend.
With less than 2 weeks until Thanksgiving and 3 weeks remaining in the competition, Lacrosse Mutache Madness stands just $27,000 away from hitting the $110,000 fundraising goal.
Week 3 is in the books and the campaign has already raised $55,000 shattering last year’s Week 3 total by over $19,000. Currently over 362 participants, representing over 52 fundraising teams are growing and many more are joining the Lax Stache Madness.
Lacrosse Mustache Madness is growing like never before, 2 weeks into the competition we see over 283 participants representing over 41 fundraising teams working for a common goal!

The HEADstrong Foundation is back and bigger than ever for their 6th installment of Lacrosse Mustache Madness™ (LMM).
This Saturday and Sunday, October 11-12th, Access Lacrosse is going to be live streaming The HEADstrong Foundation’s 8th Annual Nicholas Colleluori Classic from Ridley High School in Folsom, PA!
This fall we will see a record breaking 38 DI-III, MCLA, NCLL and other club programs will bind together to raise awareness and to make a statement that lacrosse is dedicated to the RELENTLESS fight against cancer.
This month, MLL recognizes Machine midfielder Dominique Alexander for his outstanding community work in the city of Columbus. Alexander arrived in Ohio’s capital city back in 2009 as a freshman at The Ohio State University. As a Buckeye, Alexander amassed 95 points, was named an Ohio State Scholar-Athlete all four years and co-captained the team alongside now-teammate Logan Schuss. However, it was also at Ohio State where Alexander truly started donating his time to others.
Twenty-four schools, making up around 30% of Minnesota’s high school lacrosse scene, will be joining forces to compete in a weekend of action all in the name of raising awareness and fighting blood cancers. Throughout the spring of 2014, around the country boys and girls high school lacrosse teams are teaming up with the HEADstrong Foundation to compete against rival opponents. These games are taking place in part with the HEADstrong’s National Rivalry Series.
