Lacrosse Mustache Madness 2013 is in full swing, and I’m thinking that it’s about time LaxAllStars got in on the Madness. As of today, we officially invite you to join us in growing some facial hair and raising funds for the HEADstrong Foundation.
Tweet of the Week: Ken Clausen’s Return
After years of injury recovery, UVA alum Ken Clausen returned to the playing field for the Denver Outlaws as they scrimmaged the Denver University Pioneers last weekend at the Colorado Lacrosse Showcase. His teammate, Mack Bocklet, gave him a shout out on Twitter for the successful return. Clausen is also the co-founder of Lacrosse Mustache Madness, a fundraising campaign for the HEADstrong Foundation, which helps families affected by blood cancers.

With September being the national month for Lyphoma Awareness, Leukemia Awareness, National Prostate Cancer Awareness, and many other unfortunate illnesses, my challenge to you is to take some time out of your “offseason” to donate something to those in need.
HEADstrong Announces New Fall Collegiate Event
High quality NCAA Tournaments in the Fall are few and far between. That’s not to say there aren’t any in existence, but when the HEADstrong Foundation announced their new fall collegiate event for this October, it immediately jumped to the front of the pack, especially considering everything that will be going into this tournament.
HEADstrong Partners with Smartlink for “Shot Towards Success” Contest at MLL Championship Weekend
Major League Lacrosse and Smartlink announced today an interactive fan contest in partnership with the HEADstrong Foundation. The contest, entitled “Shot Towards Success,” will allow fans in attendance during Sunday’s title match at MLL Championship Weekend presented by Smartlink a chance to win monetary prizes for both themselves and for HEADstrong.
