Week 12 – Is This Poll Serious?
Week 12 was actually somewhat sane when it came down to it. While a ton of my Top 20 lost, most of those losses were to other Top 20 teams. It made sorting through it all pretty simple in the end, and week 12 is actually looking sensible and solid!

Once again in NCAA D1, the B1G, the CAA, and SoCon kept things internal the Big East and MAAC both had bad weeks while the Ivy is looking stronger and stronger. Then the NEC went 2-0 to inch closer to .500 on the heels of Robert Morris’ pair of wins.

This week, we have 49 names on the D1 stat freaks list, just one fewer than last week. But even this late in the season, we’re getting new additions, including 18 first timers for this week.

Things are really getting crazy. Puzzling losses are all over, some teams have finally found themselves, and we are gaining better clarity for how the postseason will start to take shape. I love this time of year!
NCAA D1 Stat Freaks – Week 8
While this week in D1 stat freaks did drop off a little bit in terms of total number of performances (50, the lowest since Week 2’s 43), there were still 22 new names being added to the list.

America East used the weekend to go above .500 in out of conference play, while most of NCAA D1 teams stayed within their conference for the week.

This is getting ridiculous. The good teams are looking bad, the bad teams are looking good, and the average teams are doing both. There is a major lack of consistency, and that is really showing in the double digit poll spots.
