That Old Lacrosse Head: STX Hi Wall

The STX Hi-Wall is a classic non-offset head, but I don’t just have a Hi-Wall today… I also have an STX Laser Hi-Wall, which is actually something different, in its own way. The STX Laser Hi-Wall came out first, and it’s a follow up to STX’s Laser Lite head, which had a slightly thinner sidewall.

That Old Lacrosse Head: STX X2 – John Jay Dye

Welcome to Episode 2 of That Old Lacrosse Head! Today I’m fixing up a nicely dyed STX X2 head. The John Jay dye job is classic, and it needed to be cleaned up a little bit. The pocket? Well, the pocket was shallow, short disaster, and it needed a complete overhaul!

On the Eleventh Day of Laxmas…

11th day of laxmas

On the 11th Day of Laxmas we bring to you a brand new K18 U head from STX! Kyle Harrison’s new head is ideal for all players of all ages, so we know you will love winning it this Christmas Eve. Check out the video and see if you won. If you didn’t, you still have 1 more day of Laxmas to snag a new Cascade R helmet decked out with LaxAllStars Black Ops theme Headwrapz, a HeadWrapz 50 decal, or a free subscription to LAS Insider.

Gear Review: NEW Proton Power by STX Lacrosse

A couple weeks back, Andrew Ratzke reviewed the classic Proton Power, and had the usual issues with the stick (a tad flimsy, and tough to string), so as soon as I got my hands on a NEW Proton Power by STX, I had to see if any improvements had been made. Is the head tougher? Is it easier to string? If the answer to those two questions is yes, the Proton Power will take a big step up in the ratings department.
