2017 Supplemental Draft Results

The Florida Launch drafted midfielder Will Gural with the first selection in the 2017 Supplemental Draft last Wednesday.

Gural helped lead Brown to the NCAA Semifinals last season, where they lost to Maryland in overtime. He scored 11 goals in 18 games for the Bears in 2016 and won 270 of 386 face-offs (70%). In 43 career games at Brown, Gural had 19 goals, seven assists, 227 groundballs and won 527 of 834 face-offs (63%).

The Atlanta Blaze picked defenseman Callum Robinson with the second choice in the draft. A native of Australia, Robinson appeared in nine games with Chesapeake last season, collecting 25 groundballs. The Bayhawks selected Robinson in the third round of last year’s Supplemental Draft.

The Blaze also added attackman James Pannell, younger brother of the New York Lizards’ Rob Pannell. The younger Pannell appeared in four games with the Lizards last season after a 33-goal season at the University of Virginia in 2016.
