Bryan Badolato finally got the Golden Eagles into the scoring column, and Marquette went on to out-score Jacksonville 4-3 in the second period, including another goal from Badolato, which pulled Marquette to 7-4 at half time.

Jacksonville scored two goals to start off the third, and the game began to look out of hand, although Marquette did score two man-up goals in the fourth quarter. Tyler Melnyk ended the scoring for both teams, which made it 13-7 for a final. Cameron Mann had two goals and a helper for the Dolphins, as did Dakota Rohlin.
