Writing A Legacy

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen!
One of the most profound statements I’ve heard in 2014 (and probably in my adult life), was from Eric Thomas. He said, “When you become successful, you don’t ask what is wrong with something. You ask what’s right with it.” That is something that swirls through my head on a regular basis now, and is something that has become a big part of my decision making.

We have plenty of options in life, from the way we dress, to the way we think and speak, to the choices we make socially. And while there are some things that we probably feel are (or should be) universally understood, we each have our own tastes, and thoughts about what is acceptable. When we make our choices, however, they should be in alignment with who we claim to be, and where we want to be. Our decisions are not always about whether or not something will hold us back. Sometimes the decision is about whether or not it will move us forward.

Remember, you’re writing your legacy; painting a self-portrait with every word that you speak.”

Make it a GREAT day!

Stay blessed.
