Trilogy: Rider Tourney Success, More To Come

An underrated hotbed for lacrosse talent, New Jersey just got a little hotter. 85 degree weather, clear skies, and some fierce lacrosse all collided to form the perfect storm of a lacrosse tournament. Trilogy Lacrosse  hosted 93 teams two weekends ago at Rider University ranging from high school graduating classes 2024 through 2017. The Trilogy Rider Tourney is quickly becoming a well-respected staple in the Summer scene.

Trilogy organizers harnessed the full potential of their professional level facilities and the beautiful weather added to the luster. Hosting the teams at one central location, with 12 fields, helped streamline the organization of the event. Games were held on 60-minute intervals and ran all day, from 8am to 8pm.

Full access to Rider facilities including conveniently close parking, grass fields, and a turf championship field was all part of the deal. Parents and players came and went as they pleased without fear of losing a prized parking space. Shuttles also assisted families to and from the fields.

A vendor village provided food and whatever lacrosse accessories you could want or need. The village surrounded a central Trilogy hospitality tent fully equipped with breakfast and lunch buffet, 4 HD TVs (in the Mobile Mancave), and massage therapists.

Where was this luxury when I played the summer tournament circuit?

Trilogy, founded in 2005, has rapidly grown in recent years, and they now host 7 tournaments throughout the summer. For this company, expansion is a reality. With such an exceptional staff – it’s no surprise.

Co-founder & CEO, Ryan Boyle has too many accomplishments to list here. Ryan is considered a mastermind in lacrosse and his uncanny ability to elevate the play of his teammates enabled his teams to win championships at every level of play. He dedicates his professional life to passing along wisdom to the next generation of players and coaches. His on-field precision can be seen in Trilogy’s well executed events.

Co-founder & Chairman, Rob Lindsey has spearheaded Educational Leadership experiences in Guatemala, Nicaragua, Chile, India, as well as Jackson Hole (WY). Rob seeks to inspire young people to find their passion and realize their potential. Their tourneys have a real positive vibe and make for fun days of lacrosse.

Depicting action on and off the field at Trilogy’s Rider Tournament – the following photo essay is an attempt to motivate youth players, seniors in high school, and parents alike to grow the game of lacrosse, by doing things the right way. We’re happy to say Trilogy is doing just that!
