This week on Twitter Reactions, we’re highlighting Week 4 of the NLL season. We’re bringing you the best Twitter reactions and posts from accounts around the National Lacrosse League. It was an exciting week as always in the NLL. Time to dive in to Twitter Reactions!
The week kicked off with the Philadelphia Wings taking on the Toronto Rock, as Toronto picked up the crazy overtime 11-10 victory (more on that later).
The Georgia Swarm would then take on the Vancouver Warriors on Saturday.
Fans that attended the game seemed to have a great time, including those attending the Saturday’s games for the first time:

Vancouver would tie things up at two on a goal from the Warriors’ Keegan Bal, who showed some nimbleness around the crease:

But the biggest goal of Saturday night had to be Lyle Thompson’s game-clinching goal with just over a minute to play in the fourth quarter, as the Swarm took home the 10-8 win with this beautiful play:

However, this goal from Adam Jones to grab the win in overtime over the Philadelphia Wings may have been the biggest highlight from the weekend as the Rock defeated the Wings 11-10:

There was also some humor involving the famous Buffalo Bandits B-O-X chant for opposing teams’ penalties:
I didn’t know I was going to get a spelling lesson at the lacrosse game. @RocKnighthawks @NLLBandits @NLL #ROCvsBUF
— hannah fedeli (@h_fedeli) January 6, 2019

Matt Vinc also became the all-time leading saves leader in the National Lacrosse League, surpassing Anthony Cosmo. Vinc would finish with 55 saves, only allowing four.

And finally, in the nightcap for Saturday, the defending-champion Rush took on the expansion franchise San Diego Seals in what was an exciting game.
Before the game, the Rush raised their 2018 championship banner much to the delight of fans:
