Canada’s TSN Kraft Celebration Tour – Now Featuring Lacrosse!

Online voting for TSN’s (Canada’s ESPN) annual Kraft Celebration Tour started today at Noon EST. Each day the tour features two Canadian towns head-to-head for $25,000 towards a sports related upgrade. Also, TSN  will visit each winning town and air Sports Centre (editor’s note: see? that’s how they spell it.) live from each location.

Today Wallaceburg, Ontario faces-off against Trenton, Ontario. Wallaceburg is rallying votes to win the $25,000.00 and give their outdoor practice facility – a TENNIS COURT – a complete face lift and make the facility into a beautiful outdoor box lacrosse rink; a first for the community of 12,000.

Over the years Wallaceburg has been home to many talented lacrosse teams and players.  And on the national stage, Wallaceburg has been home to a Founders Cup in 2001, and has produced  NLL and Sr players in Sean Pollock, Kevin Dostie, Josh McNaughton, (LAS’ own) Chris Fox, and countless other draft picks.
