I’m in the middle of moving. But that doesn’t mean I can’t take a little time out to give you that lacrosse drop action on this fine Wednesday evening.
Alumni Game Highlights
When the Severn School and St. Mary’s (in Maryland) get together for an alumni game, you just know it’s going to be a good one. After putting up the rosters for both teams (there is some talent there!), the organizers talk through the idea behind the game. At about 2 minutes in, the action starts. Lots of btb shots and passes, some backhand action and strong Maryland lacrosse. Great stuff. Maybe I’ll organize an alumni game between Weston and Wayland High Schools back in Massachusetts!

Club Uniforms… From the US to Hong Kong!
Streaker Sports has created these new kits for the Aquillo Lacrosse Club based out of Hong Kong. Streaker Sports is a newer apparel company based out of NYC that specializes in vintage inspired gear. The graphics are really solid and I guess tramp stamps are ok for club teams.

Updated High School Recruiting Tape
Danny Burke out of Medina, MN had a highlight tape of his in one of our older lacrosse drops. The video has been updated and improved and is now a real piece of living lacrosse art. Love a good highlight tape!

Training Session Video
Getting good video of you training will help you become a better lacrosse player. Sometimes you don’t realize the little mistakes you are making until you see them. Bennett Jonas out in Cali is definitely an athlete. It’s good to see he’s working on shooting with time and room as well as on the run and trying to become more smooth. If you don’t have good handle, speed can be pretty meaningless.

Awesome Older Man Highlights
Adelphi, CW Post and NY Tech alumni got together for a 30+ alumni tournament. All 3 of these schools are big time D2 NCAA programs out on Long Island. Lax.com has the highlights and they are pretty excellent. You’ve got some real ballers out there ripping it up Strong Island style. They might not be as fast as they once were but the hands are still there. TONS of limited movement corner rips from all over. So technical.

Nice Little BTB
Down in Louisiana the game is growing. Kids are shooting behind the back like gangbusters. This video is proof! The action starts about 20 seconds in and Saban Sellers finishes it off.

NLL is Coming!!!!
The NLL season is just around the corner. The Toronto Rock are really stepping it up and looking to compete for another Championship after last year’s near-miss. I found a nice report online so if you don’t know box, check it out and get in the know. Follow the motto of GI Joe. At about the 3:40 mark, practice scrimmage highlights show up as well.
