Welcoming the Inaugural Cal Lacrosse Hall of Fame Class

Saturday night, the inaugural University of California Berkeley Men’s Lacrosse Hall of Fame celebration took place at the University Hotel on campus. 5 members of the Cal Lacrosse program were inducted in front of a crowd of around 180 in attendance.

Rick Rickerson, Michael Hyer, Pete Bijesse, Karl Baldauf and Alex Mast were all honored in the ceremony, going down as the first class in the Cal Men’s Lacrosse Hall of Fame.

Our friend Claude Lyneis sent us the featured imaged photo along with the video. It’s HOF’er Rick Rickerson (greatest fake sounding name ever) back in 1964 amid the Free Speech Movement. Lacrosse history, dig it?

BHSvideodad did what he does best and whipped up and awesome video for Cal Lacrosse to kick off the event, and for that we’re grateful! Is it MCLA season yet?
