WSL has commissioned an independent panel of national lacrosse figures to select the West’s first Player Rankings. Three times a year, WSL will post the Top 25 seniors, juniors and sophomores in the Western United States. To be eligible for selection, players must participate in WSL Elite 25 sanctioned events so that they can be properly evaluated by the panel. All information can be found at www.westsidelax.com.

Overall, this looks like a very accurate list of top-notch talent from the West. And it’s great proof that the West Coast is beginning to thrive in the lacrosse scene. More and more talented athletes are heading East for college – to knock heads with East Coast kids who were born with sticks in their hands.

Big props go out to West Side Lax. They are doing a great job at promoting the talent and building a solid foundation for lacrosse in the Western US.
