Worlds Collide: Harlem Lacrosse Does Harlem Shake

We tired of the Harlem Shake pretty quickly, until the Harlem Lacrosse and Leadership group got involved, because they bring it all back to where it started… sort of.

At this point we are all aware of the Harlem Shake phenomenon, and we should also all be aware that what people are doing is not actually the Harlem Shake. But whatever, the movement is alive and well, and lacrosse teams just can’t get enough of it. We tired of the idea pretty quickly, until the Harlem Lacrosse and Leadership group got involved, because they bring it all back to where it started… sort of.

We love this version for a couple reasons. The mask made out of a cardboard box is great, the sweeping dance on the right is unreal, and they smash a guitar at the end. Because why not?

It’s the most meta Harlem Shake video yet, at least in the lacrosse world.

Tweet of the Week: Give Your Goalie Some Love

Goalies are incredibly important in lacrosse, and sometimes they just don't get the love they deserve. As an attackman, I know that I've given out a few stingers and shots and rides. As long as it's not a penalty, that's just good hard play, but when it's your own goalie, you need to give him props. In the end, you can't play without a goalie, he's your last line defense, and game after game he takes a beating.
