Tibor is a sophomore midfielder at Simon Fraser University in British Columbia, Canada and also plays box lacrosse in Alberta during the summer. He is also a member of the Belgium National Team that will be competing in the World Championships in Denver this summer. He will be providing updates on his experience with the national team and their first appearance on the world stage.
With only four months to go until the World Lacrosse Championships, Team Belgium is preparing its debut on the world stage. A record 38 nations have registered to compete in that tournament, which will be held July 10-19 in Denver, Colorado. That number alone is indicative of the sport’s exponential global growth.
