There are a lot of people out there with ideas for spreading lacrosse in their community. Recently, we asked fans on the LAS Facebook Page to share their own perspective.
The prompt: In 200 words or less, please explain your favorite way to Grow The Game.
We received over 100 answers – some serious, others quite playful – and over the next several days, we’re going to be sharing a few of our favorite tips to #GrowTheGame.
GROW THE GAME TIP #14
This one comes from Michael Stull of Mentor, Ohio.
“My mom runs a home day care out of our house and when I go outside to play wall ball all the kids come outside to watch and play. They loved it so I went and got a whole bunch of mini sticks for them to play with and practice scooping, throwing, and catching. Growing the game anyway I can.”
Now that’s some solid advice, Michael. If younger kids see older kids doing something, they’ll give it a shot. We love that they’re seeing you play lacrosse! Keep up the great work!
