Grow The Game

There are a lot of people out there with ideas for spreading lacrosse in their community. Recently, we asked fans on the LAS Facebook Page to share their own perspective.

The prompt: In 200 words or less, please explain your favorite way to Grow The Game.

We received over 100 answers – some serious, others quite playful – and over the next several days, we’re going to be sharing a few of our favorite tips to #GrowTheGame.

GROW THE GAME TIP #2

This one comes from Jackson Scott of Irvine, California.

“My favorite way to GTG is to teach someone how to string their own stick, whether they have played before or are completely new to lacrosse. Being able to string a stick to your own liking is a major stepping stone in expanding your game…”

Inspirational advice, Jackson! Teaching an important skill you know to someone else, and then maybe that person can then pass it on to someone else… Start small and make big things happen. We love it.
