Good morning from Thailand!
Good morning from Thailand!

7:45AM – Alarms sounds.

7:50AM – Alarms sounds again. Ok, getting up now. Time to meet up with Payu.

8:40AM – Getting Payu’s truck for a ride to our hotel. We stayed at Payu’s the first night since we got in late, so now we’ll go meet the rest of the guys at the hotel. Dave better be wearing his GTG tee.

9:00AM – Just drove by a massive IKEA being built. Probably 5 times the size of the one in Redhook Brooklyn. The biggest in the world!

9:11AM – Did I mention the roads are opposite here, and the drivers side is on the US passengers side? Threw me for a loop! This morning I got in the wrong side of the car and the driver asked me if I was driving.

10:00AM – Got to the hotel to check in. Payu woke up Dave with a prank call from the front desk. He came down the elevator looking a bit weathered from last night.

10:15AM – Met up with Dave, Glenn and Rory in my hotel room (well, technically we didn’t see Rory until later that afternoon). Sounds like they had themselves an exciting night at Soi Cowboy. Jumped in Payu’s truck to go get food.

10:45AM – Kuppa Restaraunt for brunch. “Im never drinking again” – Dave Ogle. Skipping breakfast for lunch to try a Thai Specialty: Moo Yang, grilled pork and sticky rice.

12:45PM – Back at the hotel getting cleaned up. Waiting to do sightseeing until the rest of the guys get here. In the meantime, we’re going to the MALL!

1:22PM – At the mall. Asked Payu’s friend what a good souvenir would be to take home and she said “happiness.”

1:45PM – Bought my girlfriend a sweeeeeet pashmina. She’s going to love it!!!

Big mall!

2:00PM – Back to the hotel to rest up before practice. Yup, practice with the Thai National Team! This is something I’m very excited to do. The other guys got to partake last night and they said it was it fun – even with Glenn running practice!

2:15-3:45PM – Catching up on emails and work. Trying to get through customer service emails for our Lacrosse Shop orders. We’ve seen a surge of Man Bro sunglasses purchases since being featured in Lacrosse Magazine last month. Always a good thing, but it’s had us on our toes lately! My apologies in advance if your order has been delayed due to this trip!!

4:30PM – Two trucks arrive to pick us up. Off to practice we go!

4:45PM – On the road, enjoying an exquisite pre-practice meal.

7:30PM – Just finished up practice. What an experience! Glenn Morley was asked by Payu to lead practice and he had some fun drills in store for us. It turns out the Thai goalie is the starting goalie for University of Utah.

7:50PM – On our way back to the hotel now, riding with Payu’s friend. He’s dropping us at the hotel to shower, then taking us to a club for dinner and drinks. We’ll be there all night. The rest of the guys (Connor, Vinnie, Dan W and Dan H) all get in around 11pm tonight, and Payu will be bringing them to the club to meet up with us. Should be fun!

3:00AM – Hung out at the club all night. Great food, great fun.

On tomorrow’s agenda: Food, Sightseeing, Practice!

Stay tuned for better photos and video tonight/tomorrow/what time is it again?!
