Stick Skills with the USMNT

USMNT

To be the best, you need to train like the best. Here are two videos from the USMNT (no, not the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, that is TMNT) that will help you to improve both your defensive, and offensive skill sets.

Dan Seglio was a defender on the U-19 US Men’s National Team and is currently playing for Coach Starsia at the University of Virginia. Lacrosse Magazine put together this great video for defenders everywhere to help work on your over-the-head check.

Switching over to the offensive side of things, fellow U-19 USMNT and midfielder, Mike Tagliaferri of the University of North Carolina, talks about how to get your hands free off a midfield dodge – a VERY important aspect to great midfield play for both passing and shooting.
