Sunday LIVE: D2 Championship

2013 NCAA D2 Men's Lacrosse Finals

Sunday plays host to the NCAA D2 and D3 men’s lacrosse championships. We’ll be updating this post with photos from the games, and posting notable updates in the comments section.

Both the D2 and D3 games are being broadcast on, at 1pm and 4pm, respectively. Mercyhurst takes on Le Moyne, and RIT plays Stevenson. Should be a couple of creatively played gems!

Tommy Gilligan is at the game, shooting up a storm. Consummate pro!

Here are some images from the first half of the game… looking good, eh?

It’s ALL TIED UP at the half. 5-5 is the score. Looking good for quarters 3 and 4!

Got any predictions for how the second half will shake out? Any ideas on who will take D3?

Congrats to Le Moyne for winning the D2 NCAA Men’s Lacrosse Championship!

D-2 Champs

Le Moyne tops Mercyhurst 11-10. ANOTHER one goal game? You know it!

Who’s ready for D3?

Heck of a battle between these two tough and talented programs. Unfortunately for the Lakers, there can only one champ, and this (just barely) wasn’t their year. Look for both of these teams to be knocking on the door again in 2014.

  • I’m pretty sure this game will be an epic, 8-7, 9-8, contest. Some great scorers, but some serious defense is played by both teams. Should be a good one!
