Tweet of the Week: MLL Championship Edition

0 - Published August 29, 2013 by in Major League Lacrosse

And what do they teach us? No one passes like the Hawks, and […]

The Chesapeake Bayhawks just won their second consectutive Major League Lacrosse championship, and their league-best fifth overall title. If they don’t deserve photo of the week honors, I don’t know who does. In fact, they get a double dose, first with this gem from Cascade’s Instagram and then this awesome t-shirt design the Hawks created.

Roy Colsey Vs. The Dive

Major League Lacrosse’s Championship Game in 2003 was incredibly physical. While 2004 also showcased two tough teams, what really stood out was Roy Colsey’s epic shooting day, and the Cannons’ Michael Watson pulling out the most acrobatic assisted dive shot goal of all-time.

2003’s Major League Lacrosse championship game was particularly physical. Both the Bayhawks and Lizards were stacked with with long poles, and the middies on both of those teams were particularly tough. This match up was contentious from the start, and was the third straight time in the league’s short three year history that we saw […]

Pick Your Poison: Powell Vs Millon 2002

It’s not scientific, and just for fun. No reason is really needed other than that! We respect both of these legends immensely, and we’re just interested to hear which assist you like more… Millon’s dodge and dump from X? Or Powell’s quick stick feed to a cutter? We thought they were both great, but which […]
