The 2019 Vail Lacrosse Shootout continued its 47th annual tournament with 55 teams across five divisions. The Boys and Girls U19 divisions began bracket play to decide who will face off in the semifinal games tomorrow. The Men’s Supermasters, Grandmasters and Zenmasters divisions all finished up with their the championship games. The Supermasters division championship lived up to all the hype between Magic Wands/WLF and Elder Statesmen. The game was decided in the last moments with a big defensive stop by Elder Statesmen to claim the title. Los Viejos de Tejas had a repeat championship appearance against Elder Statesmen in the Grandmasters division. The Zenmasters championship was a lopsided affair with the Eldest Statesmen taking home the hardware and completing the “triple crown” of all three older men’s divisions of the 2019 Vail Lacrosse Shootout.
