The 2019 Vail Lacrosse Shootout wrapped up the first half of the tournament with the conclusion of both high school divisions. The U19 Boys shook things up as ADRLN Tropics took home their first Shootout championship trophy. On the Girls’ side of the tournament, perennial favorite Team HLA added more first-place hardware to their collection.
Tomorrow brings the fast-paced play of Men’s and Women’s Elite and the Men’s Masters games to the field.

ADRLN Tropics 16, Laxachusetts 7

Noco Select 6, Georgia Outlaws 14
Both Noco Select and Georgia Outlaws played a good game as they fought for 3rd place in the Silver Bracket. Outlaws’ Wright scored seven out of their 14 goals, and their goalie had five saves, both aiding in the Outlaws win.

Hero’s Green 5, Hero’s White 8
It was a battle of the Hero’s, hard fought and aggressive! It was 4-3 at half with Hero’s White in the lead. They stayed ahead the whole second half, beating a higher seed Hero’s Green.

Team 180 Black led the first half with a score of 5-2, but PSS wasn’t done yet. The second half was a battle to the goal, resulting in a tie at the buzzer. It took one minute in overtime for PSS’s Havill to shoot the winning goal.
Team TN 7, Team 180 Yellow 5
The Silver Championship game didn’t disappoint! A clear winner wasn’t determined until the end as the score stayed tight the whole game. A last second shot by Team TN’s Williams clenched a victory and a team trophy.
T3 All-Stars 4, Stars Blue 10
Stars Blue came out of the first half with a 7-1 lead. After the half, T3 All-Stars tried to come back by holding the Stars to only three goals and scoring three of their own. It wasn’t enough to bring down Stars Blue, who earned 7th place in the Gold Bracket.
