The Atlantic 10 Conference is adding men’s lacrosse for the 2022-23 school year. The conference will include regular season conference play and a conference championship at the conclusion of the regular season.
There are currently four A-10 institutions that host varsity men’s lacrosse programs. All four programs will transition over from their current conference affiliates to the A-10 for its inaugural lacrosse season. The four programs include Massachusetts, Richmond, St. Bonaventure, and Saint Joseph’s.

The conference will also be bringing on High Point University and Hobart College as affiliates rounding the total number of conference teams to six. Over the past ten years, every program previously mentioned have combined to make 10 NCAA tournament appearances.
“Adding men’s lacrosse to the portfolio of Atlantic 10 sponsored sports provides a home for our four full-time members, who have requested this for several years. Welcoming both High Point and Hobart College as affiliate members rounds out a strong collection of teams that have been nationally competitive, playing in the NCAA postseason multiple times, with multiple national championship appearances.”
